Accommodation Rates

Room tariff includes, pre-dinner drinks with hors d'oeuvres, seasonal gourmet dinner, full breakfast, complimentary mini-bar including domestic beers (excludes liquor and wine) and use of all lodge facilities excluding spa treatments.

Room and suite rates are quoted per person per night and exclude Govt. Goods & Services Tax (GST). GST is calculated at 15%.

Please Note:

• A holiday season surcharge of NZD $200.00 per person per night + 15% Goods and Services Tax applies to guests staying 24 December 2013 – 3 January 2014 (inclusive).
• A two night minimum stay applies 15 December 2013 – 31 March 2014.

Children and Families:

• Matakauri Lodge welcomes families’ travelling with children
• Infants & Children under the age of 5 are free of charge when occupying adults room using existing bedding. Cribs are available complimentary for children up to the age of 2 years. Additional Beds can be arranged for Suites and Deluxe Suites and a charge will apply.
• Interconnecting rooms are available and can be booked in conjunction with a Deluxe Suite
• Private dining arrangements will be made for families dining with children under the age of 12 after 7:00pm.

Group Bookings:

• Reservations of 4 + rooms are considered a group and conditions apply.
• To confirm a group booking a deposit of 35% on accommodation is required, and the balance of prepayment is due 14 days prior to arrival.
• Group Bookings are taken at the sole discretion of the property and special conditions may apply.

We encourage all valued guests to take travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside of their control cause cancellation of their booking and thus incur a cancellation fee.
